Bookworm Schedule for October/November, 2017

Reading is fun!

Monday, October 23 — Bookworm Kickoff Assembly, PCES Cafeteria, 2:15 pm!

Tuesday, October 24 – Mrs. Lander will be at school to read starting at 10:10 a.m.

Thursday, October 26 – Mr. Lange will be at school to read starting at 10:10 a.m. — Don’t forget this is also Dictionary Day! Third graders are coming to the Grange Hall to get their “Words for Thirds!”

Tuesday, October 31 – Mrs. Kimball will be at school to read starting at 10:10 a.m.

Thursday, November 2 – Mrs. Lander will be at school to read starting at 10:10 a.m.

Tuesday, November 7 – Mr. Lange will be at school to read starting at 10:10 a.m. Don’t forget to vote today!

Thursday, November 9 – Mrs. Kimball will be at school to read starting at 10:10 a.m.

Tuesday, November 14 – Ms. Erwin will be at school to read starting at 10:10 a.m.

Thursday, November 16 – Ms. Erwin will be at school to read starting at 10:10 a.m.

Friday, November 17 – Everyone is invited to the Valley Grange Hall–we will be hosting the Piscataquis County Spirit of America Awards! The program starts at 7:00 p.m.

Tuesday, November 21 – Mrs. Lander will be at school to read starting at 10:10 a.m.

Thursday, November 23 – Happy Thanksgiving!!

Tuesday, November 28 – Mr. Boomsma will be at school to read starting at 10:10 a.m.

Thursday, November 30 –  Mrs. Lander will be at school to read starting at 10:10 a.m.

Third graders will be getting their dictionaries compliments of Valley Grange… for more information contact Mr. Boomsma.  We’ll be coming to Ridgeview Elementary and Harmony Elementary soon!

Parents of home-schooled children are invited to contact your school or a Valley Grange Member.

The Bookworms Are Coming!

Bookworm
Valley Grange Bookworms are getting ready to visit P.C.E.S. We’ll be kicking off this year’s program with a brief assembly in the PCES Cafeteria on Monday, October 23 at 2:15 p.m. Third graders will meet old friends and second graders will learn what bookworming is all about!
